The English Education Study Program (PBI) Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a Seminar on English Education, Literature, and Linguistics (ELITICS). This event was held online and attended by approximately 98 participants on Saturday, (23/7/2022).

The ELITICS Seminar is held with the aim of improving students' ability to write scientific articles and other skills, namely education, literature, and linguistics. The speakers in this seminar are Dr. Andhita Dessy Wulansari, M.Sc. from Yogyakarta State University (UNY), Dr. Graduated with Irawati, S.S., M.Pd. from the University of PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), and Dr. Uzlifatul Masruroh Isnawati, M.Pd. from the Islamic University of Lamongan (UNISLA).

In each presentation of the material, students are given the opportunity to ask questions that are lacking or still not understood. The event began with remarks from the Head of the English Education Study Program, Dr. Erlik Widiyani Styati, M.Pd, continued with the presentation of material from each resource person.

In his remarks, the Head of the UNIPMA English Education Study Program said, "The hope is that with the implementation of this seminar, students will gain experience, knowledge, and also real examples of how they should be able to compile scientific articles properly and correctly in accordance with writing procedures," said Erlik.

As a manifestation of this expectation, at this ELITICS seminar, 43 final semester students of the English Education Study Program presented their writings in each of the breakout rooms provided by the committee. The event went smoothly and successfully.
