Following the development of digital technology, all Unipma staff are given IT training

Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Technological developments in Indonesia are undergoing significant changes. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, people's lifestyles have changed. This includes the need for technology.

The existence of technological advances, especially information technology has a great influence on office work. Office work can be carried out easily and quickly.

However, these developments must be balanced with the development of human resources and supported by adequate media or information facilities. In order to improve the ability of administrative staff, PGRI Madiun University under the Personnel Bureau held IT training for all staff and laboratory assistants.

The training will be held from September 4, 2021 – September 8, 2021 for 4 days in the Lab. UPT1, Lab. UPT2, Lab. Mathematics, and Lab. Mathematics education according to a predetermined schedule. The presenters in this training came from internal / UNIPMA lecturers. The materials include:

1. Complete Gmail operation (drive, docs, sheet, slides, form, gmeet, share link, etc.)

2. Zoom operation as a complete admin

3. Ms. Complete office

4. Scan and converter documents

5. Link shortening app

6. Simple photo editing app

7. Simple video editing app

8. Letters, writing and grammar

11. Study program web management

The training was opened directly by the Vice Chancellor II of UNIPMA, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd. accompanied by the Head of the Bureau of Personnel, Drs. H. Mrs. Mahmudi, MM. In his speech Dr. Supri said that the purpose of this training was to support the ability of UNIPMA Staff and so that the staff at UNIPMA could be more proficient in technology, because now everything is modern using technology.

"The plan is that all of our correspondence will be made online, because in this increasingly modern era we are required to adapt to increasingly advanced technology, coupled with the COVID-19 pandemic which requires us to reduce mobility and WFH policies," explained Dr. Supri.

Therefore, during this pandemic, we must not just sit back and do nothing and wait for this epidemic to end. We must continue to work and carry out activities as usual but according to health protocols and of course working at home. Thus, a system change must be implemented so that work can continue to run well as before the pandemic.

"So that UNIPMA staff and laboratory assistants when there is a WFH schedule can still work from home," he added.

Fortunately, when the importance of information technology has supported the change in the system. Technology that is increasingly advanced and sophisticated makes things easier to solve. So there is no need to adapt to the difficulty in implementing the new system.
