PKM-RSH UNIPMA Students Held Strengthening Religious Moderation in Early Childhood 

Tuesday, August 31, 2021. One of the PKM-RSH Unipma Madiun teams passed the Higher Education Student Creative Program. Namely, Strengthening Religious Moderation in Early Childhood as an Effort to Prevent Radicalism During the Covid-19 Pandemic. The team successfully held Strengthening Religious Moderation in Early Childhood at 20 early childhood institutions located in Jiwan District, Madiun Regency.

Rosyida Nurul Anwar, S.Pd., M.Pd.I, a PKM supervisor explained, "Nowadays the radicalism movement continues to grow and finally penetrates into early childhood, the threats of radicalism are very worrying. So we conduct research through PKM-RSH (Strengthening Religious Moderation in Early Childhood as an Effort to Prevent Radicalism During the Covid-19 Pandemic).

"Now those who experience radicalism are not only adults, but they also involve early childhood, so we must prevent radicalism and one of the preventions is by guiding and providing reinforcement to early childhood through religious moderation," he added.

The PKM-RSH, which consists of Yuliana, Fitri Lusiana, Dea Ramadhanyaty, and Anis Rahmawati, found that early childhood education institutions are located in Jiwan District, Madiun Regency to strengthen moderation using methods that are preferred by children in the form of 1) national commitment, for example instilling how the attitude of nationalism, introducing the name of the hero, 2) introducing tolerance, namely respecting differences, and 3) anti-violence, so as to provide gentle examples when speaking and teach children to take advantage of each other.
