The 2nd ICETECH 2021 Unipma Madiun was Successfully Done 

Friday, August 27, 2021. PGRI Madiun University has successfully held the International Conference (ICETECH) which has been held twice. The 2nd ICETECH 2021 will be held for two days, August 25-26, 2021. ICETECH (International Conference on Education and Technology) is a major event organized by PGRI Madiun University. This year's International Conference has the theme "Research on STEM Based Education and Technology During the Covid 19 Pandemic" with 7 scopes including:

1. Physics

2. Educational Science & Math

3. Mathematics

4. STEM Based Education

5. Chemistry

6. Applied Science

7. Biology

Dr. Marheny Lukitasari, M.Pd. The Chairperson of The 2nd ICETECH 2021 Committee gave a speech and opened the event. This year's conference is very different from the previous year, this year it's an online/online-based event, considering the world conditions that are experiencing the covid 19 pandemic. However, the number of participants who participated in this activity did not decrease, even at this conference there were very many participants.

The 2nd ICETECH 2021 Unipma invited keynote speakers from 4 countries, namely Austria, Japan, Australia, and Indonesia.

2. Dr. Lawrence Eclarin (Mariano Marcos State University, Philippines)

3. Dr. Siska Desy Fatmaryanti, M.Si (Muhammadiyah University Purworejo, Indonesia)

4. Dr. Dwi Setyadi, M.M (Universitas PGRI Madiun)

The moderator at this conference is Dr. Sigit Ricahyono, S.S., M.Pd. Many participants attended and were interested in the themes presented by the presenters. With the 2nd ICETECH activity that has been held, it can improve the performance of lecturers in increasing the productivity of scientific journals and international proceedings.

In the presentation of material about the challenges and opportunities of higher education in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and the covid 19 pandemic, Prof. Dr. Parji, M.Pd. said that the rapid development of technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is very influential on the characteristics of existing jobs, where skills and competencies are the main things that need to be considered. changes in the behavior of the business world and the industrial world, the behavior of society and consumers in general.

“Currently digital transformation is no longer a trend, but has become a necessity and even a necessity for the campus academic community to be able to remain relevant to developments that occur. Especially in this uncertain time of a pandemic," said Prof. Parji.
