Student Achievement Selection is an event for the selection of outstanding students addressed to students of the Universitas PGRI Madiun. Through pilmapres students are able to compete both academically and non-academically.

A total of 19 Universitas PGRI Madiun students participated in the Student Achievement Selection on Friday (6/3). One of them was Zulfawati, a Physics Education study program student who was able to win first place as an outstanding student at the Universitas PGRI Madiun in 2020.

Of course, to become 1st place in Student Achievement is not easy. There are so many requirements that Zulfawati must prepare to get the position. In addition to having a record of achievement, Zulfawati also has to make scientific papers and follow several stages of selection. The first stage is a selection of administrative completeness while the second stage of selection is the presentation of scientific papers, presentations, and discussions in English, and personality tests.

His scientific writing entitled "Locky (local wisdom soft skills and character-building literacy) in the 3t area as an effort to provide quality education for independent Indonesian" was able to lead Zulfawati to become 1st place in the Forestry Students. In this scientific paper, Zulfawati raised the issue of education in the 3t regions (disadvantaged, leading and outermost regions) in Indonesia and her desire to provide quality education support in the area.

"Alhamdulillah, I could join the pilmapres, a lot of knowledge and experience that I got. Message from me, ambitious is not the main key to win in a match, endeavor, prayer, trust, and sincerity inshallah is the best," said Zulfawati.
