Universitas PGRI Madiun Holds KMD for Pre-service PPG Students 

As many as 222 Pre-service PPG students from Batch 1 and Batch 2 at PGRI Madiun University took part in the Basic Level Advanced Scout Coaching (KMD) Course. In this course, the participants are divided into 3 groups, Candidates for Standby Advisors, Candidates for Fundraising Advisors and Candidates for Enforcement Advisors. The division of this group is based on the choice of participants according to the level of professional education pursued.

This activity was carried out for 6 days, starting on the 24th and ending on August 29 2023. This activity in the form of a camp took place at UNIPMA Gor, Campus 1, Integrated Lab, Practice at MAN 2 Madiun, SMKN 2 Madiun, SMAN 6 Madiun, SMPN 10 Madiun, SMPN 14 Madiun, SDN Klegen 02 Madiun, and SDN Manisrejo 03 Madiun.

This activity is the 3rd implementation in 2023 as a form of implementing the collaboration between Universitas PGRI Madiun and Kwarcab City of Madiun. This KMD activity was reported by the head of the committee, Andista Candra Yusro, S.PD., M.PD. with the aim of "Providing scouting skills and knowledge for prospective professional teachers (PPG), to implement Scouting as a mandatory extracurricular at school." Said Sis, Andista Candra Yusro, S.Pd., M.Pd.

This activity was also attended by the Head of the Madiun City Kwarcab, Ms Suyoto and the Chancellor of PGRI Madiun University, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd and Dr. Elva Nuraina, M.Si and Dr. Marheny Lukitasari, M.Pd as the Cluster Front Advisory Council.

On this occasion, the KMD activity was opened by the Head of the Madiun City Kwarcab, Ms. Suyoto. He conveyed a message to the participants, after participating in the KMD well and having passed 100 percent, the students were declared ready to become Scoutmasters who were professional and with character.

It is hoped that after this KMD activity, the alumni of PPG students will be able to become Scoutmasters who are Professional and Characteristic and ready to guide the younger generation in the front group of the school where they serve.
