UNIPMA Master’s Program Students Enhance English Competence through EAPT 2026
UNIPMA – Master’s Program (S2) students of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) participated in the 2026 English Academic Proficiency Test (EAPT) organized by the Language Development Center (P2B) of UNIPMA. This activity is part of an effort to improve students’ academic competence through the assessment of English language proficiency.
The EAPT 2026 was attended by 390 UNIPMA Master’s Program students from various study programs. The participants consisted of 312 students from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education (PBSI) Program, 44 students from the Social Sciences (IPS) Program, 19 students from the Elementary Education (Dikdas) Program, and 15 students from the Guidance and Counseling (BK) Program.
The implementation of EAPT 2026 focused not only on evaluating participants’ abilities but also on ensuring that the examination services ran comfortably and optimally. P2B UNIPMA prepared various supporting facilities, from the administrative stage to the test implementation, with assistance from the organizing team.
Winarno, a Master’s student in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, stated that the test was conducted smoothly. According to him, the varying levels of difficulty in the questions were part of the process of evaluating participants’ English proficiency.
“The test went quite smoothly. The questions varied; some were easy and some were quite difficult, but that is normal in an examination,” said Winarno on Monday (3/8).
In addition to the test implementation process, Winarno also appreciated the services provided by the P2B UNIPMA team. According to him, the readiness of the officers and supporting facilities helped create a comfortable examination atmosphere for participants.
“The service was very good. The P2B team that assisted us also provided excellent service, so we felt satisfied while taking the test,” he said.
He hoped that the quality of these services could continue to be maintained and developed to support students’ needs in carrying out their academic processes at UNIPMA.
The implementation of EAPT 2026 is one of P2B UNIPMA’s commitments under the leadership of Dr. Fitra Pinandhita, M.Pd., in providing quality language development services. Through this activity, P2B UNIPMA not only measures students’ language abilities but also supports the academic and professional readiness of Master’s Program students.
In addition to EAPT, P2B UNIPMA also provides various language development services, such as TOEFL, TOEIC, and IELTS training, English, Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin language courses, Professional English, public speaking training, as well as translation services.
Through these various programs, UNIPMA continues to encourage the improvement of students’ competencies so that they possess language skills that support academic development, research, and readiness to face the professional world.
