UNIPMA – Kopma Nirwasita at Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held Basic and Intermediate Education (DIKSAR/DIKMEN) at the Integrated Laboratory on Saturday (20/6), yesterday. This activity aims to improve the capacity of cooperative members through strengthening organizational understanding, cooperatives, and developing basic member skills.

The activity was attended by Kopma Nirwasita members, management, organizing committee, advisors, supervisors, and resource persons. This program is designed to strengthen members’ roles within the organization as well as build character, solidarity, and teamwork skills in the student cooperative environment.

The head of the committee, Nur Faiqhah Qhanimah, stated that the implementation of DIKSAR/DIKMEN was motivated by several internal organizational challenges. These include limited members’ understanding of organizations and cooperatives, lack of management skills, and an underdeveloped sense of ownership toward the organization.

“Through this activity, we hope members can better understand organizations and cooperatives, while also improving teamwork, communication, and leadership skills,” she said.

Carrying the theme “Upgrade Capacity, Build Solidarity, Create Impact,” this activity was conducted through several methods, namely material delivery, discussions, Q&A sessions, and group activities. This approach was chosen so that participants do not only receive theoretical material but can also apply it in teamwork.

The first material session was delivered by Nik Amah, S.E., M.Si., CTT., CSRS, who discussed cooperatives, organizational introduction, and self-potential development. Meanwhile, the second material was delivered by Aldo Januari Wibowo, HRD of House of Kyme, focusing on entrepreneurship and business development.

Through this DIKSAR/DIKMEN activity, Kopma Nirwasita UNIPMA hopes that participants can improve their understanding of organizations and cooperatives, strengthen leadership skills, and build solidarity among members. This activity is also directed to encourage active involvement of members in the development of Kopma Nirwasita Student Cooperative.
