Strengthening International Collaboration: UNIPMA Faculty Visit Cavite State University, Philippines 

A team of lecturers from Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), comprising Mr. Rihan Mustafa Zahri, S.E., M.Ak., and Mr. Rizqi Husaini, S.Pd., M.Pd., conducted an important visit to Cavite State University in the Philippines as part of their efforts to enhance ties and strengthen collaboration with their new partner institution. This visit aimed to plan various student exchange programs and guest lecturer initiatives between the two universities.

In an interview on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, Mr. Rihan Mustafa Zahri, S.E., M.Ak., stated that the visit was part of a series of activities to reinforce the established partnership and monitor planned initiatives. This visit also aligned with the SEA Teacher program, which promotes experience exchange and strengthens inter-university relations across Asia.

During the visit, Mr. Rihan Mustafa Zahri, S.E., M.Ak., and Mr. Rizqi Husaini, S.Pd., M.Pd., participated in various activities, including guest lectures, a campus tour, and meetings with the Vice President of Cavite State University. “This visit was conducted to expand our international network, particularly in higher education, and discuss various collaboration opportunities such as ICT programs, SEA Teacher, International Doctoral Programs (PDI), and research collaborations,” said Mr. Rihan Mustafa Zahri, S.E., M.Ak.

One of the main objectives of this visit was to build stronger ties between UNIPMA and Cavite State University while introducing flagship programs that could involve students and lecturers from both institutions. Through this collaboration, UNIPMA students are expected to gain opportunities for exchange programs and broader learning experiences through guest lectures and joint research with academics from Cavite State University.

Additionally, Mr. Rihan Mustafa Zahri, S.E., M.Ak., expressed hope that this visit would serve as a solid foundation for the development of more diverse international programs in the future. “We hope this collaboration will open up more opportunities for both parties across various fields and significantly enhance the quality of education at UNIPMA,” he added.

This visit reaffirms UNIPMA’s commitment to developing international networks and strengthening relationships between educational institutions in Indonesia and abroad.
