UNIPMA Team Conducts Monev for Inbound PMM Programme Students at UPGRIS

As part of the Merdeka Campus Competition Programme (PKKM), Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) carried out Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activities for Domestic Credit Transfer Programme (TKDN) students who were undergoing student exchanges at Universitas PGRI Semarang (UPGRIS) on Wednesday, 23/10/2024, yesterday. This monitoring is carried out to ensure that students can undergo academic and non-academic activities optimally and get the maximum learning experience while at UPGRIS.

The UNIPMA team on duty consisted of Dr Bambang Eko Hari Cahyono, M.Pd. (UNIPMA Vice Rector for Field III and Person in Charge of PKKM), Dr Sardulo Gembong, M.Pd. (Dean of FKIP UNIPMA and Chair of the Taskforce), Dr Dahlia Novarianing Asri (Vice Dean for Field I FKIP UNIPMA), Dr Endang Sri Maruti, M.Pd. (Head of PGSD Study Programme). The event was also attended by the coordinator of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) from UPGRIS and students participating in the TKDN programme.

In the monitoring session, the UNIPMA team explored information related to the development, challenges, and needs of students during the programme at UPGRIS, including academic aspects, environmental adaptation, and participation in social activities.

‘This programme is very beneficial for students because it provides cross-campus learning experience, while equipping them with adaptation and collaboration skills. We hope that through this monitoring, we can understand the obstacles faced by students and offer appropriate solutions,’ said a representative from UNIPMA.

Students participating in the programme also expressed their enthusiasm and appreciation. They gained new experiences, both from interactions with lecturers and new friends as well as from various campus activities.

‘We are very grateful for the learning experience at Universitas PGRI Semarang. We learnt many new things, especially in terms of academic and cultural adaptation. This monitoring makes us feel supported and cared for in the development of our studies,’ said one of the students.

This activity ended with a discussion to formulate recommendations for the development of the PMM programme in the future, so that student exchanges can run more effectively and provide optimal benefits for all parties involved.
