Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held another Job Fair 2024, Thursday, 26/09/2024, yesterday at Graha Cendekia UNIPMA. The activity held by the Career Development and Counselling Service Centre (P2LK) was presented as a forum for alumni and final semester students to get debriefing and career opportunities in the world of work. With the theme ‘Create Your Own Future’, the event managed to attract the attention of 35 participating partner companies, more than the original plan of 32 companies.  

The chief executive of UNIPMA's Job Fair, Mr Dimas Setiawan, S.Kom., M.Kom, explained that the event was held as a form of the university's commitment in facilitating alumni to obtain professional employment.

‘This Career Fair is one of the concrete manifestations of UNIPMA's implementation in helping alumni build careers that contribute to the nation's economy,’ Mr Dimas Setiawan, S.Kom., M.Kom, said. In addition, he emphasised the importance of evaluation to improve future activities to make them better and more satisfying for participants.

One of the participants, Adelya Dwi Octavia, expressed her gratitude for the event. ‘I feel very helped and opened my mind with this Career Fair. There are many job opportunities that I can see directly from partner companies,’ she said.

With full support from the entire UNIPMA academic community and partner companies, Career Fair 2024 proves the university's commitment to strengthening synergies with the industrial world. Through this activity, it is hoped that UNIPMA alumni and students can achieve job opportunities that are in accordance with their competencies, and continue to improve their quality in facing the challenges of the professional world.

This Career Fair is part of UNIPMA's ongoing efforts to bridge graduates with the world of work, while supporting the university's vision in creating superior human resources who are ready to compete in the global market.
