The Rector of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), Dr Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd, together with Mrs Brigitta Septarini Rahmasari, S.S., M.Pd. (BKH LN Secretary), and Mrs Puput Jianggimahastu Larastika Suryanto, S.Pd., M.Pd (LN Division), paid an official visit to Thaksin University (TSU), Thailand, on Tuesday, 10/09/2024, yesterday. The visit aimed to initiate international cooperation between UNIPMA and TSU, opening opportunities for collaboration in various international programmes.

One of the main focuses of this visit was the discussion of a number of collaborative programmes, such as International Transfer Credit, International Lecturer Exchange, Joint Research, and Sea Teacher Programme. In addition, Mrs Brigitta Septarini Rahmasari, S.S., M.Pd and Mrs Puput Jianggimahastu Larastika Suryanto, S.Pd., M.Pd also participated in the Guest Lecture programme as part of efforts to strengthen academic relations between the two institutions.

During the visit, UNIPMA received a warm welcome from TSU. Dr Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd expressed his gratitude for the kind welcome and explained that many inspiring things could be adopted from the learning system and culture at TSU.

‘We are very inspired by the education system, learning culture, and various programmes implemented at TSU. Hopefully this collaboration can continue and strengthen collaboration in various fields, especially joint research and guest lecture,’ said Dr Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd.

Through this visit, it is hoped that UNIPMA can further expand its international cooperation network and continue to collaborate with various partner universities in Asia to enrich the quality of education and research. The hope is to continue to provide learning to the next generation to be ready to compete in the national and international realms.
