UNIPMA FC Greeted the Madiun Community with Action and FIKS Flagship Program on the Green Field

The Faculty of Health and Science (FIKS) of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) has once again made an innovative breakthrough in introducing its excellent programs. Through the UNIPMA Football Club (UNIPMA FC), FIKS greets the people of Madiun through a series of friendly soccer matches, presenting a spirited match while conveying important messages about education.

The first match was held on Thursday, 15/08/2024, yesterday, when UNIPMA FC faced off against Madiun City's MGMP PJOK, a club made up of Physical Education, Sports and Health teachers from various schools in the city. The match was fierce, with both teams showing equal strength and toughness, until finally the match ended with a 0-0 draw.

Not only stopping there, a week later, precisely on Thursday, 22/08/2024, yesterday, UNIPMA FC returned to the field to challenge Pecelland FC, a club inhabited by employees of various offices in Madiun City, including medical personnel and hospital staff. This match was no less exciting and ended in a 2-2 draw. One of UNIPMA FC's goals was scored by Dr. Edy Suprapto, M.Pd., who not only showed his individual skills but also the solidity of the team.

This match was not just about winning or losing, but more about UNIPMA's efforts to strengthen relations with the community. Dr. Ghon Lisdiantoro, M.Or., believes that this kind of activity opens up opportunities for universities to get closer to prospective students and the general public. “It's not just about the match, but also about building closer relationships and introducing the advantages we have at UNIPMA,” he said.

On the other hand, Weka Sidha Bhagawan, M.Farm, saw this opportunity as the right moment to introduce the Recognition of Past Learning (RPL) program that had just been introduced in the Pharmacy study program. The program is designed to provide recognition for previous work experience, allowing health and medical personnel to pursue studies with a shorter duration. “We want people to know that we offer many new and innovative things, including in the Pharmacy study program,” he said.

With this activity, FIKS UNIPMA successfully established closer relationships with various groups, while conveying important messages about its academic excellence. This friendly match is clear evidence that UNIPMA not only focuses on academics, but also on strong relationships with the community, in order to produce quality graduates who are ready to compete in the future.
