Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) once again strengthened its position on the international stage by participating in the International Research Conference in Business and Information Technology organized by Cagayan Valley Computer and Information Technology College, Philippines. The conference, which was held online through the Zoom platform on Monday, 07/19/2024, carried the theme “Innovative Strategies and Technologies for a Sustainable Digital Future in Business”.

The event was divided into three main sessions that provided opportunities for presenters and participants to exchange ideas, knowledge, and experiences. With participation from countries such as Croatia, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, and Romania, the conference became an important event in expanding professional networks and promoting cross-border collaboration.

UNIPMA itself sent a delegation consisting of two faculties, namely the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) and the Faculty of Engineering (FT). These two faculties were represented by Rihan Mustafa Zahri, S.E., M.Ak (FEB) and Yessi Yunitasari, S.Kom., M.Cs. (FT)., as well as Dr. Liliek Nur Sulistiyowati, S.E., M.M who was invited as an invited speaker. In addition, five UNIPMA student teams also took part as presenters.

In this conference, the Head of the UNIPMA Cooperation and Public Relations Bureau (BKH), Sri Lestari, S.Pd, M.Pd., as well as Faculty representatives, Dr. Liliek Nur Sulistiyowati, S.E., M.M and Nasrul Rofiah Hidayati, S.T., M.Pd., who became the Person in Charge (PJ) expressed great hope that this event would not only be a place for knowledge exchange but also a gateway to establish closer cooperation with partners in the Philippines.

“We hope that cooperation with partners in the Philippines can be established more closely, and this experience provides an opportunity for UNIPMA students to experience how to present their research results at the international level,” said Sri Lestari, S.Pd, M.Pd., in her interview as the representative of the Person in Charge.

This conference is clear evidence of UNIPMA's commitment to supporting the professional academic development of the entire academic community, as well as continuing to expand international networks and collaborations.

With a theme that emphasizes the importance of innovation and technology for a sustainable digital future, UNIPMA shows its active role in advancing research in the fields of business and information technology, not only at the national level but also internationally.
