(Inbound Coordinator), and Etiko Nugroho (General Helper), have been successfully implemented. This program is an initiative of the Southeast Asian Ministry of Education Organization (SEAMEO) and aims to provide opportunities for students in Southeast Asia to teach in other countries and learn about local culture.

The 2024 SEA Teacher activity involved students from Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) Philippines who underwent this program at UNIPMA from 18 April - 15 May 2024. This program includes various activities, including internships in schools, cultural immersion, and city tours. For the implementation of this activity, Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) collaborates with SMAN 2 Madiun and SDN 05 Madiun Lor, so that students can gain direct teaching experience at these schools.

The purpose of SEA Teacher 2024 is to improve the global competitiveness and knowledge and skills of participating students. The program also aims to deepen intercultural understanding and communication skills in English. In addition, SEA Teacher 2024 seeks to expand internationalization and establish sustainable partnerships with colleges in Southeast Asia, as well as build a strong network of partnerships with schools and universities in the region.

During the program, MMSU students were involved in internships at local schools, experiencing Indonesian culture first-hand through various activities such as batik making, visits to historical sites, learning traditional music and dance, and a city tour in Madiun.

According to the SEA Teacher 2024 activity report, there was a fruitful cultural exchange between leaders, lecturers, and students from UNIPMA and MMSU. A strong synergy was established between partner universities and schools in Madiun. MMSU students also gained an in-depth understanding of Madiun city, including its general profile, local achievements, and cultural wisdom through language and traditional culinary.

As a follow-up to this activity, UNIPMA has planned several strategic steps. Among them, there are plans to expand cooperation in the field of the tri dharma of higher education, which includes education, research, and community service with MMSU Philippines.

The SEA Teacher program will be held regularly, with plans to send delegates to international partner universities in the following semester. In addition, the addition of international partner universities will also be carried out to expand the range of tri dharma cooperation in the coming semester.

With the success of this program, UNIPMA continues to be committed to expanding international networks and enhancing academic and cultural experiences for students in Southeast Asia.
