Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) and Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University (UST) Yogyakarta officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the rectorate courtroom, UNIPMA campus 1, Tuesday, 07/30/2024. The event was attended by a number of important figures from both universities, namely, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd (Rector of UNIPMA), Prof. Drs. H. Pardimin, M.Pd., Ph.D (Rector of UST Yogyakarta), Dr. Jeffry Handika, M.Pd., M.Si (Vice Rector IV UNIPMA), Octarina Hidayatus Sholikhah, S.Pd., M.Pd. (Representative of UNIPMA PPG Study Program), Sri Lestari, M.Pd. (Head of Cooperation and Public Relations Bureau), Liya Atika Anggrasari, S.Pd., M.Pd. (DN Secretary of Cooperation and Public Relations Bureau), and Secretary of UST Yogyakarta Rector.

The signing of this MoU aims to establish closer cooperation in an effort to improve the quality of education. In his speech, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd expressed his hope that this collaboration can encourage mutual progress in the world of education.

He emphasized that this MoU can be a significant step forward for the development and improvement of education at the national level. And hope that the implementation of this MoU can run smoothly and effectively, to provide optimal benefits for both parties.

Meanwhile, Prof. Drs. H. Pardimin, M.Pd., Ph.D also appreciated the warm welcome received during his visit to UNIPMA. Prof. Drs. H. Pardimin, M.Pd., Ph.D stated that this MoU would cover various fields of cooperation, including research and community service. He added that this collaboration is expected to provide a positive and constructive direction for the advancement of Indonesian education.

The MoU signing event marked the beginning of a strategic collaboration between UNIPMA and UST which is expected to have a positive impact on improving the quality of education in both institutions.

This activity also reflects the commitment of the two universities to work together to face challenges and take advantage of opportunities in the ever-evolving world of education.
