Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) once again showed its commitment in improving the quality of English education by holding the 3rd English Education, Literature, and Linguistics (ELITICS) 2024 Seminar. The seminar organized by the English Education Study Program raised the theme “Challenges and Opportunities for English Education and Teaching in Era 5.0”. The implementation of the seminar lasted two days, July 24-25, 2024.

The ELITICS 2024 seminar was designed to discuss various important topics covering English Education, English Literature, English Linguistics, and English Translation. The event was organized online through the Zoom Meeting platform, giving participants from different regions the opportunity to join and discuss.

The first day of the seminar was presented by two speakers, Dwi Rosita Sari, M.Pd., Ph.d from Universitas PGRI Madiun, and Dr. Wan Irham Ishak from Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia. Then, the second day was filled by Lien Hsi Nancy, Ph.D from Dong Hwa National University, Taiwan.

The ELITICS 2024 seminar aims to create an in-depth and productive discussion forum for academics, practitioners, and students working in the field of English Language Education. Through this event, participants are expected to gain new insights into English teaching methods, literary and linguistic research, global communication, and the opportunities and challenges faced in the era of technology 5.0.

With the ELITICS 2024 Seminar, UNIPMA's English Education Study Program shows its dedication to continuously improving the quality of English education and teaching. This seminar is not only a place to share knowledge, but also to expand the professional network among the participants.
