Unipma Holds PPG Pre-Service Substantive Test 2024: 1,737 Prospective Teachers Scramble for Professional Seats!
Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a substantive test for the Pre-Service Teacher Professional Programme (PPG) in 2024, which was attended by 1,737 participants. The test took place from 3 to 7 June 2024, with locations on various UNIPMA campuses that have been prepared for the implementation of this activity.
The locations of the test implementation include:
1. UPT Computer Lab 1, Campus 1 3rd floor, Jalan Setiabudi 85.
2. UPT Computer Lab 2, Campus 1 3rd floor, Jalan Setiabudi 85.
3. Accounting Education Study Lab, Campus 1 2nd floor, Jalan Setiabudi 85.
4. Maths Education Study Lab, Campus 1 3rd floor, Jalan Setiabudi 85.
5. Faculty of Economics and Business Lab, Campus 3 4th floor, Jalan Auri No. 6.
6. Informatics Engineering Lab, Campus 3 3rd floor, Jalan Auri No. 6.
7. Information Systems Lab, Integrated Lab 6th floor, Jalan Lieutenant Colonel Suwarno.
8. Industrial Engineering Study Lab, Integrated Lab 6th floor, Jalan Letkol Suwarno.
9. Accounting Study Lab, Integrated Lab 6th floor, Jalan Letkol Suwarno.
UNIPMA Rector, Dr Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd, gave a warm welcome to the participants of the 2024 Pre-Service PPG substantive test. In his remarks, Dr Supri expressed his welcome and expressed hope that the entire series of tests could run smoothly.
"Welcome to Universitas PGRI Madiun. We hope that the participants can take this test well and get satisfactory results. We are committed to providing the best facilities and a conducive atmosphere for the participants,’ said Dr Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd.
This substantive test is an important part of the selection process for prospective teachers in Indonesia. UNIPMA as one of the higher education institutions that has a PPG programme, plays an active role in ensuring the quality and competence of prospective teachers through this test.
The total number of participants reaching thousands shows the high interest and enthusiasm to be part of the teaching profession. They will undergo a series of exams covering important aspects of education, from pedagogical skills to material mastery.
The entire UNIPMA academic community is involved in organising this test, by ensuring all participants' needs are met and the facilities used are in optimal condition. The organising committee has also prepared various things to support the smooth running of the test, including coordination with related parties to ensure safety and comfort during the test.
With the end of the substantive test on 7 June 2024, it is hoped that prospective teachers will be selected who are ready to continue the further education process in the PPG program and later contribute to improving the quality of education in Indonesia. UNIPMA continues to be committed to supporting the development and improvement of the quality of education through various innovative and sustainable programmes.
