UNIPMA Student Exchange Program Socialization: Learning Opportunities at Home and Abroad
PGRI University Madiun (UNIPMA) held a socialization event on student exchange programs, covering various learning opportunities both domestically and internationally at the Integrated Lab of UNIPMA on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. The event aimed to provide information and motivate students to participate in these programs.
The event was divided into two main sessions, presented by experts in their fields. The first session, led by Mrs. Liya Atika, M.Pd, focused on domestic exchange programs, particularly the "Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM)." During this session, she provided essential knowledge for students about academic and cultural experiences that can broaden their horizons. Two PMM alumni, Lusi Dhea Agustin and Laili Indah, also shared insights from their experiences in the program.
The second session was guided by Mrs. Brigtita Septarini, M.Pd, who covered international exchange programs. In her session, she explained various programs such as the International Credit Transfer (ICT), SEA-Teacher, SEA-TVET, and the Indonesia International Student Mobility Award (IISMA). She provided a comprehensive overview of how to apply, the requirements needed, and the benefits of participating in these programs. This session was further enriched by three alumni of the International Student Exchange Program, Daffa Mahendra, Fitri Nur Sukmawati, and Sita Susanti, who shared their insights and experiences.
Participants from various faculties responded positively to this socialization event. They were enthusiastic and asked many questions about the opportunities and challenges they might face during the exchange programs. It is hoped that this activity will attract more students to participate in exchange programs, both domestically and internationally, ultimately enhancing their education and experiences.
