To increase competence, the All-Indonesia Basketball Association-Perbasi Madiun City, Chairperson of Perbasi Madiun City Bagus Panuntun and Deputy Chancellor for Field I University PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) Dr. Elva Nuraini, S.E., M.Si opened the East Java C License Trainer Upgrading activities which were held at the UNIPMA Campus and in collaboration with the UNIPMA Sports Science Study Program Student Association (IKOR).

The Head of Perbasi City of Madiun, Bagus Panuntun said that Perbasi City of Madiun was appointed by the East Java Perbasi Pengprov to hold the C License Coach Upgrading event. March 5, 2023, which was attended by basketball coaches from all over East Java." he said.

To note, Upgrading trainers is a means to becoming an official basketball coach in Indonesia. The C License Trainer Upgrading Program is organized by Provincial Executives (Pengprov) or Perbasi District/City Management. Coaching Trainer License C teaches fundamental basketball techniques with an emphasis on correct technical execution.
