Encouraging Student Innovation, PIKI UNIPMA Holds KIMU 2022 

UNIPMA's Central Bureau of Intellectual Property and Innovation (PIKI) held the 2022 UNIPMA student innovation competition (KIMU) for students. This competition was officially socialized online today Saturday, 25/6/2022.

The KIMU socialization activity was opened directly by the Chancellor of UNIPMA, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd. then followed by remarks by the Vice Chancellor for Division IV, Dr. Bambang Eko Hari Cahyono, M.Pd. In his speech, the Vice Chancellor IV said that this competition is expected to be the front line to continue to produce innovations. One of them is through the emergence of these innovations to improve the quality of higher education.

"I also hope that this competition will not only end with the announcement of the winner, but that it must be implemented and there will be follow-up." said Vice Chancellor IV.

On the same occasion the Head of PIKI, Dr. Darmadi, M.Pd. explained the socialization of KIMU 2022 and said that the purpose of KIMU was to build student awareness of the importance of innovation, increase student sensitivity to environmental, social, and national issues so as to trigger them to solve them through creating and innovating, and making competition venues a vehicle for communication, socialization , and student cooperation between study programs or faculties within the scope of UNIPMA.

Darmadi said that in this competition there were two categories, namely the category of idea development and the category of prototype development.

This competition is open to undergraduate, postgraduate, and vocational students in UNIPMA. Competition proposals can be submitted via https://bit.ly/PendaftaranKIMU2022 no later than July 25, 2022.

"For the winners, we will later give certificates of appreciation and rewards / coaching funds and we will also facilitate the submission of intellectual property rights (HaKI)," concluded Darmadi.
