UNIPMA Strengthens Commitment to the 2026 PPG Implementation through Coordination Meeting and PKS Signing
UNIPMA — Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) has reaffirmed its commitment to implementing the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) in 2026. The commitment was marked by UNIPMA’s participation in the Coordination Meeting and Signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) for the Implementation of the 2026 PPG Program.
The three-day event, organized by the Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel through the Directorate of Teacher Professional Education, was held from September 23–25, 2026, at Hotel Ciputra Jakarta. The forum was attended by 173 rectors of Teacher Education Institutions (LPTK) administering the PPG program from various public and private universities across Indonesia.
UNIPMA was represented by Rector Dr. H. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., along with the university leadership team. The event was also attended by Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu'ti, M.Ed., Director General of Teachers and Education Personnel Prof. Dr. Nunuk Suryani, M.Pd., and Director of Teacher Professional Education Dr. Ferry Maulana Putra, S.Pd., M.Ed.
One of the main agendas of the event was the signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) for the implementation of PPG for prospective teachers and PPG for in-service teachers. The signing involved representatives from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education and rectors of PPG-administering LPTKs from various regions.
In addition to the PKS signing, the forum discussed several technical and policy aspects of the 2026 PPG implementation. Participants received presentations on priority program policies of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, learning and financial management in PPG implementation, as well as the monitoring framework for the 2026 Government Assistance for the PPG Program.
The discussions also covered PPG implementation policies, assistance and reporting on the use of Government Assistance funds for the PPG Program, as well as follow-up plans for program implementation in 2026.
UNIPMA Rector Dr. H. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., said UNIPMA’s participation in the forum was part of the university’s efforts to strengthen the implementation of the PPG program, particularly in terms of coordination and program execution.
“UNIPMA is committed to continuing to contribute to improving teacher quality through the professional and accountable implementation of the PPG program,” said Dr. H. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd.
Meanwhile, UNIPMA lecturer Dr. Hendra Erik Rudyanto, M.Pd., said the outcomes of the coordination meeting could serve as a foundation for the university in preparing various aspects of PPG implementation.
“We hope that the results of this coordination meeting can serve as a foundation for UNIPMA to implement the PPG program optimally, from the learning process and program management to reporting and follow-up,” he said.
The coordination meeting and PKS signing also formed part of the preparations for the implementation of the 2026 PPG program, ensuring that all participating LPTKs share a common understanding of policies, implementation mechanisms, monitoring, government assistance management, and program follow-up plans.
For UNIPMA, participation in the forum is part of the university’s preparations to implement the 2026 PPG program in accordance with applicable regulations while strengthening its role as one of the LPTKs administering the PPG program.
