UNIPMA Science Education Guest Lecture Discusses Learning Innovation in the AI Era

UNIPMA — The Science Education Study Program at Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a guest lecture titled “Science Learning Innovation in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: From Conventional Learning to Smart Learning” at the UNIPMA Integrated Laboratory, Friday (18/9).

The event featured two academics from Universitas Jember, Prof. Dr. Suratno, M.Si., and Dr. Supeno, S.Pd., M.Si., as speakers. The discussion was moderated by Head of the UNIPMA Science Education Study Program Dr. Tantri Mayasari, M.Pd.

The forum discussed developments in artificial intelligence (AI) and its application in science education. The discussion focused on how technology can support more adaptive and interactive learning methods.

The guest lecture was held in person and attended by members of the UNIPMA academic community. Following the presentations, participants took part in a discussion and raised questions about the application of AI in science learning.

The event was part of an academic partnership between the UNIPMA Science Education Study Program and the Science Education Study Program at Universitas Jember. It also served as a follow-up to the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) and an Implementation Arrangement (IA) between the two parties earlier that day.

Through the forum, the two study programs brought together members of their academic communities to exchange insights on developments in AI technology and discuss its potential applications in the development of science education.
