UNIPMA — Deputy Governor of West Papua Ahmad Nausrau attended the series of Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) activityes at Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) on Thursday (10/9). In front of the new students, Lakotani highlighted the importance of the teaching profession and expressed his appreciation for UNIPMA’s development and achievements.

Ahmad Nausrau said that students pursuing education-related fields play an important role in preparing the next generation. “Being a teacher is a noble position,” he said.

He also shared his impression of UNIPMA after seeing the various achievements attained by the university. “UNIPMA has many achievements that deserve appreciation,” he added.

Ahmad Nausrau attendance coincided with the fourth day of PKKMB, which was aimed at helping new students become more familiar with their respective faculties and study programs. The activities were held within each faculty and involved deans, heads of study programs, and lecturers.

New students received information about the characteristics of their respective fields of study, lecture systems, academic governance, facilities, and the learning environment within their faculties. This introduction served as a follow-up stage after students had participated in the general campus life orientation series.

In addition to the faculty activities, selected new students representing their peers participated in the Rehearsal for the Student Creativity Event (AKM) at Graha Cendekia. They prepared artistic performances that will be presented at the inauguration ceremony.

On the fourth day of PKKMB, new students were distributed across five faculties. The Faculty of Engineering was attended by 119 students, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education by 334 students, the Faculty of Economics and Business by 226 students, the Faculty of Law by 57 students, and the Faculty of Health Sciences and Science by 40 students.

Ahmad Nausrau message about the teaching profession was part of the PKKMB series, which brought new students into contact with various perspectives on education. “Being a teacher is not only about teaching, but also about carrying out the responsibility of shaping the next generation,” he concluded.
