UNIPMA — The Law Study Program of the Faculty of Law (FH) at Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) is promoting greater legal awareness among the community and schools through its 2026 Community Service (ABDIMAS) program in Kebonagung Village, Balerejo District, Madiun Regency, on September 2–3, 2026.

The activity, held as a joint work program of the Faculty of Law Student Association (HMF Hukum) and the Law Study Program Student Association (HMPS Yuris), focused on providing legal education on inheritance for the community and preventing bullying among elementary school students.

Claudya Rindha Ramadhani, the head of the organizing committee, said the activity was designed to provide an understanding of the law that is closely related to everyday issues. “The goal is to increase legal awareness among the community while reducing the potential for conflicts within families,” she said.

The series of events began with remarks from the Head of the Organizing Committee and Dean of FH UNIPMA, Dr. Siska Diana Sari, S.H., M.H., accompanied by the Head of the Law Study Program, Dr. Sulistya Eviningrum, S.H., M.H., a representative from the East Java Provincial Forestry Agency, and the Head of Kebonagung Village.

On the first day, Wednesday (September 2), the activity targeted neighborhood association heads (RT and RW) and Kebonagung Village officials through the K-Waris program: an Inheritance Law Clinic as an Educational and Socialization Platform for the Kebonagung Village Community.

The program featured Bintang Ulya Kharisma, S.H., M.Kn., who discussed the basic understanding and determination of heirs, and Nizam Zakka Arrizal, S.H., M.Kn., who explained the practice of inheritance distribution and the resolution of inheritance disputes.

The community’s enthusiasm was evident from the numerous questions raised during the discussion session. Questions requiring more detailed discussion were directed to the Inheritance Clinic, which also provided online consultation services through a Google Form.

The activity was also attended by village officials, Babinsa, and Bhabinkamtibmas. In addition to discussions and quizzes, the committee distributed plant seedlings to the community with the support of the East Java Provincial Forestry Agency.

On the second day, Thursday (September 3), the activity targeted students of SD 1 Kebonagung with anti-bullying materials tailored for grades 1–3 and 4–6. Dr. Sulistya Eviningrum, S.H., M.H. delivered the material to grades 1–3, while Dr. Indriyana Dwi Mustikarini, S.H., M.H. and Deva Mahendra Caesar Bimantya, S.H., M.H. delivered the material to grades 4–6.

In addition to the educational sessions, students participated in activities to make crafts from used bottles and educational games. The series of activities concluded with competition judging, the announcement of the winners, and a group photo session.
