UNIPMA — The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) is trusted to become a facilitator and conduct monitoring of the MOVE Program (Serving Communities Via Education) in five vocational schools in the Madiun Raya area. The program is scheduled to start running in September 2026.

The MOVE Program is a collaboration between FKIP UNIPMA, Light Community 21, and five schools, namely SMKN 1 Geger, SMKN 1 Wonoasri, SMKS PGRI Ngawi, SMKN 1 Kota Madiun, and SMKN 1 Kebonsari.

The initial meeting of the program took place on Wednesday (19/8), yesterday, in the Rectorate Meeting Room of UNIPMA. This activity became the initial stage to prepare the implementation of facilitation and monitoring in the five target schools.

Dean of FKIP UNIPMA Dr. Muh. Waskito Ardhi, S.Pd., M.Pd., said that FKIP will be involved in assisting participants through strengthening concepts, facilitation practices, and deepening the implementation of Deep Learning.

This approach is directed at a learning process that is meaningful, reflective, and centered on students. "FKIP plays a role as a facilitator and monitoring by involving lecturers and students," said Dr. Muh. Waskito Ardhi, S.Pd., M.Pd.

According to him, the involvement of FKIP UNIPMA in the program becomes a space for academics to support the improvement of learning quality at the vocational school level. The assistance is also expected to strengthen the capacity of educational human resources in implementing the Deep Learning approach in schools.

The subsequent implementation of the program will be aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda as well as the Impactful Campus Program initiated by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology.

The involvement of lecturers and students in this program is also directed so that higher education institutions can contribute to the community in accordance with the field of knowledge and needs in the field.

"This program becomes a space for FKIP lecturers and students to contribute according to their field of knowledge and community needs," said Dr. Muh. Waskito Ardhi, S.Pd., M.Pd.

Through the MOVE Program, FKIP UNIPMA positions higher education institutions not only as educational institutions, but also as school partners in strengthening teacher competencies and developing learning practices oriented toward the needs of students.
