UNIPMA – Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) officially launched the UNIPMA Sport Center as an effort to strengthen campus independence through asset optimization while improving sports services for the academic community and the public. The inauguration was held in front of the UNIPMA Gym Building on Thursday (16/7).

The launch was marked by the cutting of a tumpeng ceremony by UNIPMA Rector, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., together with the Chairperson of PPLP PT PGRI Madiun, Dr. Nurhadji Nugraha, S.Pd., M.M., accompanied by the deans and heads of study programs. The event was also attended by partners, including Bank BTN, BNI, BSI Syariah, the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI), Akuatik, and the Indonesian Basketball Association (PERBASI).

UNIPMA Sport Center provides various sports facilities and supporting services to promote fitness, achievement development, and community needs. The facilities include UNIPMA Gym, Sport Performance services, Sport Massage, as well as badminton courts, futsal courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, and petanque facilities.

In his speech, Dr. Nurhadji Nugraha, S.Pd., M.M., stated that the inauguration of UNIPMA Sport Center marks the beginning of a transformation in university asset management to make it more productive and beneficial for the community.

"The presence of UNIPMA Sport Center marks the beginning of the transformation of university asset management. We want to change the perspective on campus facilities, not only as academic spaces, but also as assets that can provide benefits," he said.

Meanwhile, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., stated that UNIPMA Sport Center represents the development of campus facilities that support the activities of the academic community while expanding services to the public.

"UNIPMA Sport Center represents UNIPMA’s new spirit in managing assets productively, innovatively, and sustainably. We want this facility to provide broader benefits, not only for the campus but also for the community," he said.

UNIPMA Sport Center carries the slogan “Strength • Performance • Excellence” by presenting modern, integrated, and comfortable sports facilities, along with safe, professional, and high-quality services for students, lecturers, and the general public.

This launch is part of UNIPMA’s commitment to optimizing campus assets in response to the challenges of higher education transformation. The presence of UNIPMA Sport Center is expected to strengthen a healthy lifestyle culture, expand services to the community, and improve institutional competitiveness through collaboration with various strategic partners.
