UNIPMA Holds Pancasila Day Ceremony, Reaffirms Commitment to Upholding National Values

UNIPMA – Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a flag ceremony to commemorate Pancasila Day at the Integrated Laboratory Courtyard of UNIPMA on Monday (June 1). The event was attended by the entire academic community and was led by UNIPMA Vice Rector II, Dr. Elva Nuraina, S.E., M.Si., who served as the ceremony inspector.

The ceremony was conducted as a form of respect for Pancasila Day while also strengthening the spirit of unity and national values within the university environment. As the foundation of the state, the philosophy of the nation, and the ideology of the Republic of Indonesia, Pancasila plays an important role in shaping the character of the nation's future generations.

Through the commemoration of Pancasila Day, UNIPMA reaffirmed its commitment as a Pancasila University focused on the development of knowledge and the strengthening of students' character. This commitment is reflected in its efforts to educate the nation by fostering a generation that is ethical, dignified, and capable of competing on a global level.

This initiative is part of UNIPMA’s ongoing efforts to produce graduates who excel not only academically but also possess strong character and moral values. The educational development carried out by UNIPMA is also aligned with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in supporting inclusive and quality higher education.

In addition, the event served as a reminder for the entire academic community to continue practicing the values of Pancasila in various aspects of campus life. These values are implemented through education, research, community service, and the strengthening of an inclusive and character-based academic culture.

The ceremony proceeded solemnly with honors paid to the Indonesian national flag, Sang Merah Putih, followed by a joint prayer. The event became a momentum to strengthen the spirit of nationalism and reaffirm the commitment of all members of the university community to uphold and practice the values of Pancasila both within higher education and in society.
