Industrial Engineering FT UNIPMA Receives Benchmarking Visit from Industrial Engineering UNP Kediri, Discusses Tridharma Higher Education Collaboration 

The Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), received a benchmarking visit from the Industrial Engineering Study Program of Universitas Nusantara PGRI (UNP) Kediri at the UNIPMA Integrated Laboratory on Wednesday (13/5). This activity also served as a moment to initiate collaboration among lecturers from both institutions in strengthening the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education.

The event was attended by the Vice Deans I and II of the Faculty of Engineering, Slamet Riyanto, S.T., M.M., and Hani Atun Mumtahana, S.Kom., M.Kom.; Head of Industrial Engineering Study Program UNIPMA, Aan Zainal Muttaqin, S.T., M.T., IPP.; as well as all lecturers of Industrial Engineering UNIPMA. From UNP Kediri, the Head of the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Rachmad Santoso, S.T., M.MT., attended along with lecturers and students of the Industrial Engineering program.

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Nasrul Rofiah Hidayati, S.T., M.Pd., stated in an interview that the activity aimed to strengthen institutional relations as well as improve the quality of education, research, and community service at both universities.

“Through this activity, it is expected that cooperation will be established to support the sustainable development of the Tridharma of Higher Education,” she said in an interview on Wednesday (21/5).

During the agenda, both institutions held two-way discussions regarding the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education at their respective campuses. The discussion covered various experiences, academic implementation systems, and opportunities for future institutional development.

The event then continued with the signing of an Implementation Agreement (IA) between the Industrial Engineering programs of UNIPMA and UNP Kediri. This collaboration is directed to support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the “Impactful Campus Program” from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek).

Through this synergy, both parties hope that learning activities and academic development can provide tangible benefits for students and society.

In addition to the lecturer collaboration forum, the profile of the Industrial Engineering Study Program at UNIPMA was also presented, including its learning system and available academic support facilities.

The activity continued with a visit to the Industrial Engineering Laboratory at UNIPMA. In this session, UNP Industrial Engineering students were able to directly observe laboratory facilities and infrastructure used in the learning process.

The discussion atmosphere was highly interactive. Students from both institutions exchanged experiences and insights regarding academic life and career prospects in industrial engineering.

Meanwhile, the lecturer collaboration initiation forum was held separately in the Smart Classroom on the 4th floor of the Integrated Laboratory building at UNIPMA. In this meeting, both parties discussed opportunities for research collaboration, keynote speakers, joint academic activities, and strengthening the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education.

Through this activity, both study programs are expected to build sustainable collaboration to improve the quality of education, research, and community service in the field of industrial engineering.
