Management Lecturer of FEB UNIPMA as Speaker at International Lecture at ISATU Philippines
A lecturer and Head of the Management Study Program (Kaprodi) at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), Dr. Apriyanti, S.E., M.M., became a speaker in the International Lecture Series 2026 organized by Iloilo Science and Technology University, which was held online via Zoom on Friday (15/5).
In the international lecture, Dr. Apriyanti, S.E., M.M., delivered material titled Global Strategies: Exploring Comparative Economic Planning. The presentation discussed global strategies in managing organizations and companies to face the challenges of globalization and international business activities.
Several topics presented included company strategies for global expansion, the development of international strategies, and the concept of comparative advantage in economic planning. Students were also introduced to various strategies for entering global markets, such as exporting, licensing and franchising, strategic alliances and joint ventures, as well as acquisitions and subsidiaries.
In addition, Dr. Apriyanti, S.E., M.M., explained the importance of integration, adaptation, and synergy in implementing global strategies. The material was delivered through case studies and examples of comparative economic applications in various countries.
This international activity was attended by sixth-semester students of the UNIPMA Management Study Program as well as students from Iloilo Science and Technology University. Through this international lecture, students were encouraged to understand the implementation of organizational strategies in a cross-country context and within the development of the global economy.
Dr. Apriyanti, S.E., M.M., stated that the activity reflected the commitment of both universities to creating international impact through international educational collaboration.
“Both parties are located in the Southeast Asian region and share almost similar characteristics. Therefore, the material on global strategic management is expected to be implemented harmoniously by both universities,” she said on Tuesday (19/5).
She also explained that the collaboration between UNIPMA and ISATU Philippines has been established for approximately four to five years. During this period, the two institutions have carried out several collaborative programs, such as student exchanges and lecturer exchanges.
In addition to strengthening international networks, this activity also supports the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Impactful Campus Program initiated by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek). The program is expected to provide learning experiences that deliver tangible benefits for students and the community.
