As Part of the 51st Dies Natalis Celebration Series, UNIPMA Holds Various Inter-Unit Competitions

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) has begun organizing a series of sports and arts competitions as part of the 51st Dies Natalis celebration. The activities, involving the entire academic community, aim to strengthen togetherness ahead of the main event scheduled for next June.

On Wednesday (May 13), the excitement was evident at GOR Cendekia during the simultaneous implementation of three main competitions: plastic volleyball, group exercise, and chained sarong relay. According to the committee’s schedule, today marked the opening momentum for physical competitions that require strong teamwork.

The plastic volleyball and chained sarong relay competitions were participated in by eight combined teams representing various Faculties and Bureaus within UNIPMA. Specifically for volleyball, each team was required to include both male and female players to foster camaraderie among employees.

Meanwhile, the exercise competition was enthusiastically joined by participants from various age categories, ranging from boomers to millennials. Judging focused not only on the movements but also on the creativity of the costumes or outfits of the day worn by each team.

Adding to the excitement of today’s physical competitions, the committee is also encouraging student creativity through the Creative TikTok Video competition, which has been open since May 10. This festive relay will continue with the Vocal Group performance on May 21, which will also serve as the opening series leading to the grand celebration night of UNIPMA’s 51st Dies Natalis.
