Becoming a Favorite Campus, UNIPMA Receives Visit from SMAN 4 Madiun Students

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) welcomed an educational visit from SMAN 4 Madiun, Tuesday (April 28). This activity is part of the school’s effort to introduce the world of higher education while also affirming UNIPMA’s position as one of the favorite private universities (PTS) for high school (SMA) students and equivalent.

The visit, attended by students of SMAN 4 Madiun, was directly welcomed by the university leadership, including Vice Rector III Dr. Jeffry Handhika, M.Pd., M.Si., Chief Organizer Dr. Muh. Waskito Ardhi, M.Pd., Vice Dean I of FKIP Dwi Rosita Sari, M.Pd., Ph.D., Head of the Admissions Bureau Dr. Candra Dewi, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Deputy Head of the Admissions Bureau Dr. Yoga Ardian Feriandi, S.Pd., M.Pd. Meanwhile, the school group was accompanied by their teachers.

This activity aimed to provide students with a real overview of campus life. During the visit, participants attended a presentation session in the hall about new student admissions (PMB), listened to testimonials from international students from Timor-Leste and the Philippines, and joined a campus tour to several flagship facilities such as the UNIPMA Integrated Laboratory.

In addition, students were invited to directly observe learning facilities and infrastructure to better understand the academic environment. Through this experience, students not only gained information but also felt the real atmosphere of university life.

UNIPMA welcomed the visit as a form of public information openness. The campus is committed to providing broad access for high school students to comprehensively understand the world of higher education.

Salma Hafizh, a student assistant from the English Education Study Program at UNIPMA, stated that the students were very enthusiastic in participating in the activity. “The students seemed excited and happy because they could directly get to know the campus environment, facilities, and available study programs,” she said.

She added that this activity provides new insights and motivates students to continue their education to a higher level. Direct experience on campus is considered helpful for students in determining their future study choices.

Through this visit program, it is hoped that students will have a clearer picture of university life and consider UNIPMA as one of their choices for continuing their education.

This activity is also part of UNIPMA’s contribution to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 on quality education and Goal 17 on partnerships through collaboration between universities and high schools.
