UNIPMA Undergraduate and Postgraduate Graduation: 10 Married Couples Highlight This Significant Milestone
A total of 728 students from Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) were officially inaugurated during the 18th Graduation Ceremony held at Graha Cendekia UNIPMA on Saturday (25/4). The graduates represented various levels of education, including Diploma III, Undergraduate (S1), and Postgraduate (S2), across the university’s six faculties.
Carrying the theme "Superior Academic Individuals: Empowered and Impactful for the Nation," this graduation reinforces UNIPMA’s commitment to producing graduates who are not only academically competent but also capable of making tangible contributions to society and the country.
The Rector of UNIPMA, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., expressed his appreciation to all graduates in his welcoming speech. He emphasized that graduation is not an end, but the beginning of a new responsibility as academic citizens.
"Congratulations and success. Maintain the good reputation of your alma mater and become the nation’s successors who can provide a positive impact for the country," said Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd.
In recent years, UNIPMA has shown significant development in both academic and non-academic fields. National-level achievements continue to be earned alongside the enhancement of human resource quality, particularly regarding the faculty.
This graduation ceremony was made even more special by the presence of 10 pairs of husband-and-wife graduates. Their participation serves as proof that pursuing higher education can go hand-in-hand with family life, while also reflecting the university's inclusivity.
Additionally, the 18th Graduation Ceremony announced the top graduates: Ema Rochmawati, M.Pd., from the Social Science Education Postgraduate Program (S2 PIPS) with a GPA of 3.99, and Tri Anggis Hastari, S.H., from the Law Undergraduate Program (S1) with a GPA of 3.99.
Out of the 30 study programs offered by UNIPMA, ten have achieved "Unggul" (Excellent) accreditation. This serves as a strong indicator of the university's seriousness in improving educational quality and higher education governance.
Furthermore, UNIPMA continues to expand its international partnership network to boost global competitiveness. In the near future, the university is preparing to open two new programs: a Doctoral degree (S3) and a Professional program, both of which are currently in the final stages of document maturation and infrastructure preparation.
"We hope that with the completion of our study programs and continuous quality improvement, UNIPMA will become increasingly superior, innovative, and characterized, while producing professional, competent, and highly competitive graduates," concluded Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd.
