UNIPMA Welcomes BASC Philippines Delegation, Strengthens International Academic Collaboration
Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), through its Bureau of Cooperation and Public Relations (BKH), continues to expand its global network by welcoming a delegation from Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC), Philippines, in a Faculty Mobility Welcome Ceremony along with the signing of an Implementation Agreement (IA), held at the Rectorate Meeting Room, Campus 1, on Tuesday (April 7).
This event marked the beginning of a series of collaborative academic programs between UNIPMA and BASC as part of the implementation of their established international partnership. Various strategic programs have been prepared within this collaboration, including guest lectures, faculty mobility, student exchange, joint research, IA signing, and joint community service.
The event was held in a formal atmosphere and attended directly by the Rector of UNIPMA, Dr. H. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., accompanied by Vice Rector 1 Prof. Dr. Marheny Lukitasari, M.Pd., Vice Rector 2 Dr. Elva Nuraina, S.E., M.Si., Vice Rector 3 Dr. Jeffry Handhika, S.Si., M.Pd., M.Si., as well as deans from various faculties, including the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Faculty of Engineering (FT), Faculty of Sports Science and Science (FIKS), and Faculty of Law (FH). Also present were representatives from the BKH International Division and the BASC delegation from the Philippines.
In this faculty mobility program, the BASC delegation consists of one science lecturer, Herbert, and three students from the English Education program. The participants will carry out teaching practice at SMKN 3 Madiun for one month through the SEA-Teacher Batch 11 program.
This collaboration is a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in the previous year, making the current activities focused on practical implementation in the academic field.
Through this program, UNIPMA once again reaffirms its commitment to supporting the internationalization of higher education. In addition to expanding its global network, this collaboration is expected to enrich cross-cultural academic experiences for both students and educators, while also strengthening pedagogical competencies in a global context.
