Sharing in Ramadan 1447 H, UNIPMA’s Free Iftar Snacks Attracts Crowds

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) once again held a free iftar snack distribution for the public during the holy month of Ramadan. The event, which took place in front of UNIPMA Campus 1, Jalan Setia Budi No. 85, Madiun City, East Java, on Thursday (March 12), was enthusiastically welcomed by residents who had gathered at the location since the afternoon.

This activity is a continuation of the iftar snack sharing program previously held successfully on Thursday (February 26). Hundreds of snack packages were distributed to passersby and local residents near the campus ahead of the breaking of the fast.

Even a few minutes before the distribution began, residents had already arrived and waited orderly around the venue. A warm and communal atmosphere colored the event, reflecting the spirit of sharing during the blessed month of Ramadan.

The excitement of the event was further enhanced by a performance from the Student Activity Unit (UKM) Groove Harmonic Music. The students presented religious-themed music that entertained the public while adding to the festive atmosphere before iftar.

The performance not only provided entertainment for the community but also served as a means of interaction between the academic community and local residents. The active involvement of students in this activity demonstrates the campus’s role not only as an educational center but also as part of the community.

One of the iftar recipients, Firman, appreciated the event, describing it as lively and orderly. “The event was festive and well-organized,” he said.

Public enthusiasm was evident throughout the event. Many residents expressed their gratitude for the campus’s care, which regularly shares with the surrounding community during Ramadan.

Through this free iftar snack distribution program, UNIPMA reaffirms its commitment to instilling values of togetherness, social concern, and community service. The activity also represents the university’s tangible contribution to strengthening harmonious relationships with the community, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
