Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) demonstrated the spirit of sharing during the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H by organizing a free takjil distribution for the general public. The event took place in front of Graha Cendekia on Thursday (26/2) and was warmly welcomed by residents who had filled the area since the afternoon.

Hundreds of takjil packages were distributed to passersby and the local community around the campus. Just minutes before the distribution began, people had already arrived and were patiently waiting. The atmosphere was warm and full of togetherness, reflecting the spirit of giving during this blessed month.

The event was made even livelier by a performance from the Student Activity Unit (UKM) Groove Harmonic Music. The music performed by the students brought a religious ambiance while entertaining the audience. The performance not only added to the festive atmosphere but also strengthened the interaction between the academic community and local residents.

One of the takjil recipients, Joko, appreciated the well-organized event and its tangible benefits. “The activity was orderly and very helpful for the community. I hope it can continue every year,” he said.

The enthusiasm of the public was evident throughout the event. Many residents expressed their gratitude for the campus’s care toward the surrounding community. Besides being a moment of giving, this activity also strengthened the harmonious relationship between the university and society.

Through this free takjil distribution program, UNIPMA reaffirmed its commitment to instilling values of togetherness, social care, and community service, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
