UNIPMA Follows Up on International Collaboration at Yuntech Taiwan

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), along with several PGRI higher education institutions across Indonesia, followed up on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Yunlin University of Technology and Science (Yuntech), Taiwan, from December 3–7, 2025. This five-day series of agendas serves as a concrete step in strengthening international collaboration, particularly in the fields of internships, research, and academic development.

The Head of the Cooperation and Public Relations Bureau (BKH) of UNIPMA, Dr. Sri Lestari, M.Pd., explained that the delegation participated in several strategic agendas, one of which was an industrial visit to REPON, Golden Corps, and UA Floor Yunlin. These three companies are official partners of Yuntech in the implementation of student internship programs and research collaborations.

"Through this visit, we can map out collaboration opportunities for students and lecturers, both in the form of internships and joint research," said the Rector of UNIPMA, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., on Saturday (6/12), yesterday.

In addition to the industrial visits, Dr. Sri Lestari also served as a speaker for a guest lecture attended by 25 students from various Yuntech departments. The event was facilitated by Prof. Hui Chin Yeh, Dean of OIA Yuntech, and Assoc. Prof. Huang Yu-Ting. In the guest lecture session, she presented material titled “EMI Practices at Higher Education in Indonesian Context”.

The guest lecture lasted for 60 minutes and was followed by a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Research Initiation, with a presentation by Prof. Dr. Marheny Lukitasari, M.Pd. This discussion session addressed opportunities for joint research between UNIPMA and Yuntech.

Through this series of agendas, UNIPMA affirms its commitment to expanding international networks and improving academic quality through sustainable global collaboration.
