Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) in Indonesia and Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) in the Philippines have affirmed their commitment to improving the quality of elementary education through the implementation of an Impactful International Community Service Synergy (Sinergi Abdimas Internasional Berdampak). This joint community service program targets teachers at SDN Madiun Lor 2 as well as elementary school teachers in Cabanatuan, Philippines.
This collaboration serves as a strategic step to strengthen the capacity of teachers across borders in facing the demands of 21st-century learning. The community service activities took place in a hybrid format over seven intensive meetings from April to October 2025. A total of 17 teachers from Indonesia and the Philippines were actively involved in training focused on developing multiliteracy competencies based on deep learning.
The program targets that 75% of teachers in the Madiun and Cabanatuan regions will be able to improve their multiliteracy understanding, compile learning materials, and produce a multi-literacy text bank that can be utilized in the teaching and learning process.
The UNIPMA community service team consists of Dr. Sri Lestari, M.Pd. (PGSD), Dr. Dewi Tryanasari, M.Pd. (PGSD), Puput Jianggi Mahastu, M.Pd. (Management), Fida Chasanatun, M.Pd.
