Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) once again dispatched 920 students to carry out the Thematic Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik - KKN-T) titled "Berdampak untuk Negeri" (Impactful for the Nation). The students were deployed to 47 villages spread across Ngawi and Madiun Regencies.
The departure ceremony was held at the UNIPMA Cendekia Gor courtyard on Tuesday (4/11), yesterday, led directly by the Rector of UNIPMA, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., accompanied by the Vice Rector for Field III, Prof. Dr. Bambang Eko Hari Cahyono, M.Pd., and the Field Supervising Lecturers (DPL). The event began with speeches, a joint prayer, and a group photo session as a symbol of the spirit of collaboration and togetherness.
The deployment of these students is part of UNIPMA's commitment to implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education (Three Pillars of Higher Education), specifically in the area of community service. Through the Thematic KKN program, students are encouraged to apply the knowledge gained in lectures, contribute to the community, and simultaneously strengthen the network between the campus and the villages.
The UNIPMA 2025 Regular KKN program is also directed towards supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in the aspect of sustainable community development.
With a spirit of dedication and cross-disciplinary collaboration, the UNIPMA Thematic KKN is a concrete step for students in building villages, empowering communities, and strengthening the university's role at the national and global levels.
