Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held an Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental (K3L) Socialization at the Integrated Laboratory yesterday, Wednesday (5/3). The event was attended by university leadership, ranging from the rector, vice rectors, deans, heads of study programs, heads of laboratories, heads of Technical Implementation Units (UPT), to heads of bureaus.

The Head of the Organizing Committee, Mohammad Arfi Setiawan, S.Si., M.Pd., explained that the activity aimed to provide insight and understanding to the academic community, especially the leadership of faculties and work units, regarding the importance of implementing K3L.

"The socialization provides insight to the academic community, especially to deans, heads of study programs, heads of bureaus, and heads of laboratories. The hope is that all elements of the campus can become more aware of safety, occupational health, and the environment," said Mohammad Arfi Setiawan, S.Si., M.Pd.

This activity serves as a concrete step by the university to strengthen the culture of workplace safety in the academic environment. The socialization session featured Dyan Hatining Ayu Sudarni, S.ST., M.T., as the resource person, who presented material on the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Management System (SMK3L). The presentation was interactive and concluded with a discussion and Q&A session between the participants and the speaker.

Through this activity, UNIPMA reaffirms its commitment to creating a safe, healthy, and sustainable campus environment, while increasing the awareness of the entire academic community regarding the importance of implementing K3L in every campus activity.
