PKKMB UNIPMA 2025 Officially Closed, Students Equipped with Academic Knowledge and Violence Prevention
The series of Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) 2025 officially closed on Thursday (9/11), yesterday at Graha Cendekia. On this fourth day, new students received important materials on academic administration processes, academic management information systems, E-Learning Management (ELMA), as well as the introduction of violence prevention and handling (PPKPT).
UNIPMA Rector, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., accompanied by his staff, closed the event by emphasizing the importance of the campus as a “second home” for students to develop both soft skills and hard skills. He advised students to take advantage of the available academic consultation channels. “We are open to discussion, but the process must follow the proper channels,” he said.
In addition, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., reminded students to maintain discipline and complete their studies on time. “The expectation is that everyone graduates within the study period. Do not delay, as it will only increase the financial burden. Welcome to UNIPMA as young scholars,” he concluded.
Before the closing, new students attended material sessions from various units, including the Academic Administration Bureau (BAA), Network Information System (SIJ), Center for Learning Development (P3), and the UNIPMA PPKPT Task Force.
The Chief Organizer of PKKMB 2025, Dr. Muh. Waskito Ardhi, S.Pd., M.Pd., stated that throughout the four-day event, new students demonstrated high discipline. “No one skipped or came late. Everyone followed the rules properly,” he explained.
He hoped that after participating in PKKMB, new students would understand the fundamentals of campus life. “When they enter the faculty, they will know who the dean is, where the office is located, and how to manage administration. This will make them better prepared for lectures,” he added.
In addition to academic materials, the previous day, students were also introduced to 25 Student Activity Units (UKM), 5 Faculty Student Associations (HMF), 25 Study Program Student Associations (HMPS), and the Student Executive Board (BEM). All of these organizations are expected to serve as platforms for self-development both in academic and non-academic fields.
The PKKMB series will continue with the selection of student creativity performers on Friday (9/12), followed by a Fun Walk, Student Creativity Event (AKM), and Inauguration Performance to be held at the Graha Cendekia UNIPMA courtyard on Saturday (9/13).
