PLP 2 Briefing 2025: 520 UNIPMA FKIP Students Ready for Field Experience
Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), through the Field Experience and Internship Unit (UPPLM), held a briefing for students participating in the School Field Experience Program (PLP) 2 for the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year at Graha Cendekia on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
The briefing, attended by 520 participants from various study programs, aimed to prepare students for their field teaching practice in partner schools.
The event was attended by Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd. (Rector of UNIPMA), Dr. Jeffry Handika, M.Pd. (Vice Rector IV), Dr. Sardulo Gembong, M.Pd. (Dean of FKIP), Irawan, M.Pd. (Head of Education Department, Magetan Regency), the PLP 2 committee, and PLP 2 students.
Dr. Asroful Kadafi, M.Pd., the organizing committee chair, reported that the program consists of several stages:

Student briefing: July 24, 2025

School survey visits: July 27–28, 2025

Student placement at partner schools: July 29 – August 3, 2025

PLP 2 implementation: October 5–18, 2025
He also noted that the PLP 2 assessment will take place in the week following the implementation.
According to Dr. Samsul Arifin, S.Pd., M.Pd., one of the committee members, the program involves 32 partner schools spanning elementary, junior high, and senior high levels across Madiun City, Madiun Regency, Magetan Regency, and Ngawi Regency. “We collaborate with these partner schools to ensure students gain real and diverse teaching experiences,” he said.
All participating students will also be supervised by 66 Field Supervising Lecturers (DPL), who will oversee, guide, and evaluate their progress at the respective schools.
In his remarks, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., emphasized the importance of the PLP Program as a bridge between theory and practice. “PLP provides students with the opportunity to experience the real dynamics of the education field,” he stated.
He also urged students to prepare themselves thoroughly to face real-world teaching environments, highlighting that such experiences play a vital role in shaping future professional educators.

Mochamad Baqi Wahyu Saputra, a student from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program, described the PLP 2 briefing as a crucial step before entering schools: “This briefing provides us with a thorough understanding. We gained valuable knowledge, motivation, and extraordinary insights,” he shared.
Through this briefing, PLP 2 students are now equipped to apply their knowledge and skills directly in partner schools. The event underscores UNIPMA’s commitment to producing professional educators ready to contribute to the advancement of education in Indonesia.
