UNIPMA Holds Alignment Meeting and PLP-II MoU Signing with Field Supervisors and Partner Schools

The Internship and Field Experience Unit (UPPLM) of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held an Alignment Meeting and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing with Field Supervisors (DPL) and partner schools to support the implementation of School Field Introduction Program (PLP) II. The event took place in two sessions: a morning session with DPLs and an afternoon session with partner schools, at the Integrated Laboratory on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

The program aims to strengthen cooperation and coordination between UNIPMA and partner educational institutions to support the development of professional competencies for students, particularly from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP).

A total of 520 students will participate in PLP II, accompanied by 66 DPLs, and will be assigned to 32 partner schools across Madiun City, Madiun Regency, Magetan Regency, and Ngawi Regency. The program is scheduled to run for approximately three months, from August to October 2025.

UNIPMA Rector Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., expressed his deep appreciation for UPPLM’s efforts in preparing and executing the PLP-II program. He also extended his gratitude to partner schools for their participation and commitment to supporting the program.

"Close collaboration between universities and partner schools is crucial for improving education quality and ensuring that students gain meaningful experiences. Such partnerships must continue to be strengthened so that students can experience real teaching practice in line with current educational standards," he stated.

Overall, the alignment meeting and MoU signing marked UNIPMA’s strategic efforts to improve educational quality and ensure students are well-prepared for professional roles as future educators.

The organizing committee chair, Dr. Asroful Kadafi, M.Pd., emphasized that the main goal of the alignment meeting with DPLs and partner schools was to equip students to truly experience real-world roles in the field.

"We want to make sure students are fully prepared for PLP II, not just in theory but also in hands-on practice in schools. We hope this activity will facilitate the smooth implementation of PLP II and bring tangible benefits to all stakeholders," Dr. Asroful Kadafi said.

This initiative underscores UNIPMA’s dedication to producing future educators who are not only professional but also highly competent in the field.
