LLDIKTI Region VII Commends KIP Kuliah Program Management at UNIPMA

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) once again draws attention for its commitment to providing inclusive and quality education. This was evident during the Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of the Indonesia Smart College Card (KIP Kuliah) Program Management conducted in collaboration with the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) Region VII of East Java at UNIPMA’s 4th Floor Integrated Laboratory on Thursday, 17/07/2025.

This activity specifically focused on reviewing the management of the KIP Kuliah program within the university, particularly at UNIPMA. The monitoring process was carried out directly by the LLDIKTI Region VII team, examining key aspects such as program implementation according to guidelines, selection and appointment mechanisms of recipients, and the ongoing mentoring process carried out by UNIPMA’s Student Affairs Bureau (BKM) as the program manager.

Additionally, the LLDIKTI team conducted eligibility verification of recipients through document collection, interviews, and field surveys. Transparency in fund distribution, fund utilization, and continuous support efforts for KIP Kuliah scholarship recipients were also among the evaluation’s focal points.

The monitoring activity was also coupled with an open dialogue between the LLDIKTI team, program managers, and KIP Kuliah scholarship recipients. This step aimed to obtain a comprehensive picture of the program’s implementation, which is intended for underprivileged yet high-achieving students.

Head of UNIPMA’s Student Affairs Bureau, Arri Kurniawan, S.S., M.Pd., stated that the university continuously strives to run the KIP Kuliah program according to the established guidelines. “We are committed to ensuring that the distribution of KIP Kuliah funds is well-targeted. We also provide ongoing mentoring to students to ensure they not only sustain themselves but also grow academically and socially,” he explained.

For these efforts, LLDIKTI Region VII commended UNIPMA’s performance, particularly in maintaining neat reporting systems, ensuring continuous mentoring, and introducing innovations in student welfare support programs.

This monitoring and evaluation is not merely an annual formality but serves as an important instrument to ensure that every state fund is distributed accountably and brings real impact to the future of Indonesia’s young generation. UNIPMA reaffirmed its commitment as a strategic government partner in building equitable and quality higher education through the KIP Kuliah program.
