Facing an increasingly competitive workforce, Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) equips its students through an internship briefing activity for the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. This event was attended by 569 students and 78 Field Supervising Lecturers (DPL) from four faculties: Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Faculty of Engineering (FT), Faculty of Health Sciences and Science (FIKS), and Faculty of Law (FH).

Held at Graha Cendekia UNIPMA on Thursday, 10/07/2025, the event was conducted in two sessions. The morning session focused on briefing the students, while the afternoon session was intended for the Field Supervising Lecturers (DPL).

In the opening remarks, the Chairperson, Hani Atun Mumtahana, S.Kom., M.Kom., conveyed technical points related to the implementation of the internship and the preparations students need to make. In the next session, the Head of UPPLM UNIPMA, Ir. “Utilize the internship as a real learning space, interact with the actual working world, and develop a professional mentality from an early stage,” she advised the students.

The student briefing session featured four presenters. The first presentation was delivered by Nik Amah, S.E., M.Si., who outlined the general guidelines and regulations for the internship. Next, Dr. Elly’s Mersina Mursidik, M.Pd., together with Moch. Yusuf Asyhari, S.Kom., M.Kom., explained the use of the Internship Information System (SIM Magang).

Drs. Ibnu Mahmudi, M.M., was the third presenter, discussing the 4A values: anti-corruption, anti-bullying, anti-intolerance, and anti-sexual violence. The final presentation was delivered by a speaker from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, explaining social protection for internship participants. Each session ended with interactive discussions and Q&A.

In the second session, the special briefing for DPL began with a report from the Committee Chairperson, Robby Sandhi Dessyarti, S.E., M.Ak. Then, Nik Amah, S.E., M.Si., returned to deliver material related to technical guidelines and the role of DPL in mentoring students during internships. The explanation on the use of SIM Magang was repeated by Dr. Elly’s Mersina Mursidik and Moch. This activity is expected to become a strong foundation for both students and supervising lecturers to carry out the internship program optimally and adaptively to the evolving needs of the workforce.
