KID PGSD UNIPMA Seminar Raises Topic of Strengthening Impactful Campus: Academic and Social Synergy in Primary Education
The Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) at Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held the 6th Basic Scientific Conference Seminar (KID) with the theme “Strengthening an Impactful Campus: Academic and Social Synergy in Primary Education.” This event, conducted online via the Zoom platform on Wednesday, 09/07/2025, was attended by 79 participants and 212 presenters from various institutions.
The seminar was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) UNIPMA, Dr. Sardulo Gembong, M.Pd. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the campus’s contribution to primary education. “Through this conference, we not only share knowledge but also strengthen the academic and social responsibilities of future educators to continue thinking critically and innovatively,” he asserted.
The first presentation was delivered by Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin, S.Si., M.Sc., Head of the Agency for Standards, Curriculum, and Educational Assessment. In his presentation titled “The Role of the Campus in Supporting Policy in Primary Education,” he emphasized the importance of collaboration between universities and policymakers to create a more adaptive and relevant primary education system.
Next, the second presentation was delivered by Dr. Dimas Qondias, M.Pd., from STKIP Citra Bakti, titled “Integration of Multicultural Values by Higher Education in Primary Education.” He highlighted the vital role of campuses in instilling multicultural values as part of character building for students from an early age.
The seminar chairperson, Dr. Sri Lestari, S.Pd., M.Pd., stated that the event was designed to encourage active participation of lecturers and students in developing progressive and impactful primary education.
“The enthusiasm of the participants and hundreds of presenters in this 6th KID Seminar shows a shared spirit to realize a campus that truly impacts society,” she said on Wednesday, 09/07/2025.
This 6th KID Seminar stands as proof of PGSD UNIPMA’s commitment to promoting the realization of inclusive, adaptive, and progress-oriented primary education through the active role of higher education institutions.
