Groove Specta Lights Up the Grand Finale of UNIPMA’s 50th Anniversary Celebration

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) celebrated the grand finale of its 50th Dies Natalis (anniversary) in a festive event titled “Groove Specta,” held on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Integrated Laboratory courtyard of UNIPMA. This concert marked the culmination of the golden jubilee celebration series, which had been taking place from May through June 2025.

Carrying the theme “Baswara Adiwarna,” the event featured vibrant performances by UNIPMA’s Student Music Activity Unit (UKM Musik), the Tjandra Kirana Dance, Lavora, and the guest music group For Revenge. The highlight of the evening was officially opened by UNIPMA’s Rector, Dr. H. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., amidst cheers from the enthusiastic crowd filling the campus grounds.

In addition to the concert, the event was enlivened by a variety of local MSME (UMKM) booths, sponsors, and participation from the Entrepreneurship Student Activity Unit (UKM KWU) and SMK Cendekia, showcasing strong collaboration between UNIPMA and the surrounding community.

According to Haya Nada, the event coordinator, this concert was the grand finale of a series of previous anniversary activities, which included the UNIPMA Student Ambassador Pageant, the Student Sports and Arts Week (Porsema), and the UNIPMA Run.

Through this celebration, UNIPMA aims to continue growing as a leading and adaptive educational institution—excelling in both academic and non-academic achievements. The spirit of Dies Natalis is expected to inspire the academic community to innovate, create, and strengthen collaboration with society.
