UNIPMA Distributes 2025 Research and Community Service Funding Decrees, Promotes Real Impact on Society
Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), through its Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), has officially distributed the Decrees (SK) for the 2025 Competitive Program Funding for Research and Community Service.
The decrees were handed over by the Rector of UNIPMA, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd, accompanied by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Innovation, and Community Engagement (Vice Rector III), Dr. Bambang Eko Hari Cahyono, M.Pd, and the Head of LPPM, Dr. Fida Chasanatun, S.Pd., M.Pd, during a ceremony held at the UNIPMA Integrated Laboratory on Monday, May 5, 2025.
This event was not merely ceremonial but also part of a comprehensive effort to document UNIPMA’s ongoing contributions in the fields of research and community service. Organized under the auspices of LPPM and guided directly by the university leadership, especially the Vice Rector III, the event emphasized the university’s strategic focus on research, community engagement, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
Dr. Lulus Irawati, S.S., M.Pd., Secretary of the Research Division at LPPM, stated in an interview that the issuance of the decrees aimed to officially confirm funding and to stress the importance of timely, budget-compliant, and standard-abiding implementation by researchers and community service practitioners.
In his keynote speech, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., underscored the crucial role of faculty commitment in conducting research and community service that not only adheres to timelines but also delivers measurable social impact. He conveyed three key messages:
-
Research and community service outputs must be completed on time and within the allocated budget.
-
Projects should consider broader impacts that can be felt by society at large.
-
The number of proposals for community service programs should increase in the following year.
"Our hope is that UNIPMA's research and community service efforts will not only grow in quantity but also in quality and real-world impact. In line with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology’s slogan, higher education institutions must truly make a difference," he emphasized.
Through this initiative, UNIPMA reaffirms its commitment to encouraging its academic community to produce meaningful work that contributes both to scientific advancement and to tangible solutions for societal challenges.
