FEB UNIPMA Hosts ISATU Experts from the Philippines in Guest Lecture on Effective Performance Management Strategies 

The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) continues to demonstrate its commitment to preparing graduates who are both competent and adaptive to the dynamics of the global workforce. This commitment was reflected in the recent Guest Lecture titled “Maximizing Performance: Strategies for Effective Performance Management”, held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

The event, which took place in Rooms R404–405 at UNIPMA’s Campus III, featured two keynote speakers from Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISATU), Philippines: Mrs. Maria Luisa N. Eiman, Head of the Administrative and Finance Service, and Dr. Ria T. Monsale, Coordinator of the Hospitality Management Program. The session was moderated by Heidy Paramitha Devi, S.Pd., M.Si., CSRS., and attended by lecturers from the three FEB study programs: Management, Accounting, and the D3 Taxation program.

Also present were Dr. Apriyanti, S.E., M.M., Head of the Management Program; Dr. Anny Widiasmara, S.E., M.Si., CSRS., Head of the Accounting Program; Alifianti Safiria Ayu Ditta, S.E., M.Ak., CTT., Head of the D3 Taxation Program; along with FEB UNIPMA’s Vice Deans I and II, Dr. Karuniawati Hasanah, S.E., M.M., and Dr. Liliek Nur Sulistiyowati, S.E., M.M.

In their presentations, the ISATU speakers shared concrete strategies for managing performance effectively within both institutional and business settings. These included data-driven managerial approaches, dynamic team communication, and the application of adaptive and transformative leadership values.

This activity forms an essential part of the faculty’s efforts to realize quality education, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in ensuring inclusive and equitable education.

FEB UNIPMA recognizes that vocational education — including the strengthening of life skills and practical management understanding — is a critical foundation for students facing global challenges.

The enthusiasm of the participants was evident through the interactive discussions held throughout the session. With a spirit of collaboration, this Guest Lecture is expected to inspire new perspectives in the learning process and empower students to emerge as professional, strategic individuals ready to compete on the international stage.
