International Guest Lecture of PBSI and History Education UNIPMA Highlights Students Entrepreneurial Potential

The Study Programs of Indonesian Language and Literature Education (PBSI) and History Education at Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) joined forces to foster the development of creative educators with global competitiveness. This commitment was manifested through an International Guest Lecture titled “Exploring Entrepreneurial Potential”, with the sub-theme “Discover, Develop, Do”, held at the UNIPMA Language Studio on Wednesday, April 31, 2025.

The event featured two distinguished academics from Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISATU), Philippines: Dr. Noeme C. Mosura, Head of the External Affairs Office, and Dr. Ria T. Monsale, Program Coordinator of the Hospitality Management Program. Both speakers encouraged students to explore and enhance their entrepreneurial potential within the educational sphere.

In their presentations, the speakers highlighted the importance of integrating entrepreneurial values into academia, particularly for future educators. According to them, tomorrow’s teachers must not only master academic content but also be capable of innovation and opportunity creation, both inside and outside the classroom.

"Through the Discover, Develop, Do approach, one can discover ideas, develop them, and take immediate action. This is the key to creating relevant and meaningful learning," said Dr. Mosura in front of an enthusiastic audience.

This Guest Lecture served as a collaborative and inspiring platform, enriching the insights of students across study programs at UNIPMA. Besides strengthening international partnerships, the event aligns with the goals of quality education as outlined in sustainable development—particularly in preparing educators who are adaptive to global challenges.

Through this activity, UNIPMA once again affirms its role as a university that not only prioritizes academic excellence but also emphasizes character building and global competitiveness among its students through international networking and impactful programs.
